Our story
ReLi was founded in 2020 by Rebecca Sjølie and Lisa Ribesen, with an idea to create a unique experience for circular fashion. The founders envision clothing rental as the wardrobe of the future, where access is the new ownership. Our community is built on positivity and self-love, with the joy of experimenting with different styles, colours and designers.
ReLi is created for the environment, by giving Norwegians the opportunity to buy less, and rent more - with benefits only. Acheived by increasing the lifetime of garments and honor designers who focus on sustainability. Every day the ReLi team work to promote circular fashion and new ways of acquiring clothes, as an important step towards a more sustainable future.

Founders Story
ReLi was founded with the idea to offer affordable designer clothing while, at the same time, promoting circular fashion.
Rebeca went from being a geologist to creating a renting brand. After she became aware of the environmental impact behind clothes, she saw a very clear solution to challenge the fashion industry and utilize the resources at hand.
As for Lisa, she has always been a fashion enthusiast, investing in quality items over quantity. Becoming pregnant challenged her closet and made her consume clothes that would not fit after the pregnancy. That was when she realised she wanted to help other women avoid the struggle and the expense of changing sizes regularly.
